A lot more people are going to get to know Jake Furlong soon.

After a two-goal game in a World Juniors tune-up, the San Jose Sharks prospect has made Team Canada’s WJC entry.

The defenseman was a 2022 fifth-round pick. He’s currently second among Halifax Mooseheads blueliners with 20 points in 29 games.

Last year, San Jose Hockey Now had Furlong among their top-10 Sharks prospects.

“We were too low on him,” an NHL source told SJHN last year, “he’s a good player.”
