William Eklund and Thomas Bordeleau aren’t the only key San Jose Sharks prospects who have starred for the San Jose Barracuda this season.

Three weeks ago, I caught up with Barracuda GM Joe Will to talk about Danil Gushchin, Tristen Robins, Artemi Kniazev, Brandon Coe, Ozzy Wiesblatt, Scott Reedy, Adam Raska, Santeri Hatakka, Eetu Makiniemi, and Strauss Mann’s progress this year.

Since then, the San Jose Sharks traded Hatakka as part of the Timo Meier trade, and Reedy to the Dallas Stars for Jacob Peterson.

But regardless, Will offered a ton of insight on each of these prospects: Where have Gushchin and Robins impressed most? What is Kniazev’s current NHL ceiling? How does Coe adjust to pro hockey? What do Wiesblatt and Raska need to learn from…Tony Granato? And just why does the Sharks organization have so many goalies this season?
