What’s the league-wide take on San Jose Sharks prospects at the World Juniors Championships?

The San Jose Sharks were third in the NHL with six prospects at the recently-concluded tournament, won by Team USA.

This Is 3rd-Most Prospects the Sharks Have Ever Had at WJCs

2023 first-round pick Will Smith and 2023 fifth-round pick Eric Pohlkamp won the gold for USA, 2022 first-round pick Filip Bystedt and 2022 second-round pick Mattias Havelid took home the silver for Sweden, 2023 second-round pick Kasper Halttunen skated for Finland, and 2022 fifth-round pick Jake Furlong for Canada.

Over the last couple weeks, I spoke with four NHL scouts from outside the San Jose Sharks organization to get their thoughts about Smith and company.
