Sheng’s Daily: Kane Accused of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence
The Evander Kane saga has taken an uglier turn.
Anna Kane is now accusing her estranged husband of sexual assault and multiple occurrences of domestic battery, according to A.J. Perez of Front Office Sports. These accusations were part of a domestic violence restraining order application by Anna Kane filed yesterday.
Trigger warning: The specific allegations of violence, sexual violence, and rape, in Anna’s words, are disturbing.
UPDATE: Evander Kane’s attorney responded to Anna Kane’s most recent accusations in The Mercury News.
Evander Kane claimed in August that Anna Kane had assaulted him on multiple occasions.
The estranged couple are fighting for custody of their one-year-old daughter Kensington and Anna Kane is pregnant with their second child.
The San Jose Sharks are set to begin training camp today, but my guess is, Kane will not be present, as the NHL investigates the latest allegations against the embattled winger.
Kane is also being investigated by the league for gambling on San Jose Sharks games and there have been multiple reports that his teammates were not happy with his off-the-ice conduct last season.
