So what else can Evander Kane be investigated for?

On top of Anna Kane’s allegations that her estranged husband sexually assaulted and battered her during their marriage, Elliotte Friedman noted today that the NHL is also investigating the San Jose Sharks star for “allegations of inappropriate behaviour potentially jeopardizing the health and safety of Club members.”

This investigation, per Friedman, involves a possible violation of NHL COVID protocols.

Curtis Pashelka of The Mercury News noted the discrepancy between the original NHL press release on Sept. 22 (that did not mention a health violation investigation) and more recent changes to the press release. The league has reverted the press release back to its original form.

San Jose Sharks head coach Bob Boughner declined comment today about the league’s latest Kane investigation. Kane, pending the results of these investigations, will not be participating in Sharks training camp.

San Jose Hockey Now is awaiting comment from the San Jose Sharks.
