Keep up with all things San Jose Sharks here:
Luke Hughes could end up the Sharks’ pick.
Kirill Gerasimyuk, G, pick #198. Big goalie.
“Calm and composed, quick to get down to the butterfly. Just about unbeatable on his glove side, and controls rebounds with ease,” EPRinkside.com2021
my mock had: Jake Martin, RD; Cole Jordan, RD; and Jiri Tichacek, LD. all 2-way d-men.
i, as well, am manifesting William Eklund at 7th overall, but i’m thinking it will actually be Luke Hughes.
if Eklund and Hughes are off the board by #7, perhaps the Sharks trade back with BUF for that new #14 PHI pick they got for Risto, the #33rd pick, the #95th pick (MTL), and throw in that 6th round #188 (COL) pick? #14 Svechkov (center): playmaker/2-way #33 Robertsson (RW) or Svozil (LD) here? #70 Lukashevich (LD): 2-way, versatile, high-end passer #95 Huckins (center): big, physical, playmaker, power forward #102 Tschigerl (LW): 2-way, physical, playmaker #120 Petrov (RW): goal scorer, playmaker #134 Vilen (LD): offensive #155 Orr (center): goal scorer #166 Voit (cneter/LW): playmaker #188 Almquist (center/RW): playmaker #198 Gerasimyuk… Read more »

Benning is supposedly really high on Hughes. Probably moot since NJ likely to take Hughes at 4. In trading down with Vancouver, they could still pick up Lucius, whom I’ve become higher on the more I’ve read… Read more »
nevermind that scenario I posted already. Vancouver just traded their #9 for Oliver EK-L. Should be an exciting draft
The best-laid plans of mice and men…
i like Lucius as well. his injury hurt his draft position. his skating isn’t bad, but needs work-burst. pace was also a bit of a critique.
