BREAKING: Sharks Select Quentin Musty With No. 26 Pick

NASHVILLE — The San Jose Sharks have selected left wing Quentin Musty from the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL at No. 26 of the first round of the NHL Draft.
Musty scored 26 goals and 52 assists for a total of 78 points in 60 games for Sudbury. Musty is known as a creative playmaker from the wing, who can use his size to protect the puck and his great vision to make plays in the offensive zone.
Per the Elite Prospects NHL Draft Guide:
“For now, he’s more of a bruising playmaker. His vision is top-notch, and he’s equipped with the cunning and passing skill necessary to connect with layered feeds around skates and sticks. Give-and-go plays, a sophisticated delay game – he’s got it all. If his linemates are open, then he’ll find them. If they’re not, he has the intelligence to make them open.”
Musty is expected to return to Sudbury in the OHL next season.
