Duclair Wants To Stay With Sharks, But Gets Trade Deadline Reality (+)

Anthony Duclair is nearing a situation all too familiar for him as the NHL Trade Deadline approaches.

Less than a year removed from being traded to the San Jose Sharks, the pending unrestricted free agent could be traded for the fifth time in his career.

With the Sharks sitting dead last in the NHL amid a 12-game losing streak and the Deadline on Mar. 8, it is a real possibility they could trade him away for pieces to contribute to their rebuild.

While he hasn’t talked to general manager Mike Grier about his future in San Jose yet, Duclair, who represents himself as his own agent, expects to do so soon. But for now?
