According to Sports Business Journal’s Mark J. Burns, the NHL and adidas will unveil Reverse Retro jerseys for all 31 teams on November 16th.

The San Jose Sharks, in a reverse of their original colors, look like they’ll be pairing a primary gray with teal. The number — 98, in the case of the Sharks — appears to refer to the year when the team in question wore those colors.
Between 1997-98 and 1998-99, San Jose did switch up their primary jerseys (illustration by Andrew M. Greenstein, NHL Uniform Database):
But based on the other teases and their references, most observers think 1998-99’s second-generation San Jose Sharks jerseys will provide the template for the Reverse Retros.
