Locked On Sharks

Jayden Perron, Small But Mighty

Published

on

Jayden Perron of the Chicago Steel can do just about anything you’d want. Hadi Kalakeche of Dobber Prospects joins to profile the small forward and why he is one of Hadi’s favorite players in the Draft. We start by discussing what makes him an intriguing prospect and compare him to San Jose Sharks prospect Danil Gushchin, another 5’8″ forward from the USHL. Then we analyze how Perron manages to drive play on a stacked Steel team and why his path to the NHL feels like a sure thing despite his size (11:00). Finally, Hadi weighs in on the Leo Carlsson, Matvei Michkov, or Will Smith debate and which way he is leaning for the San Jose Sharks as well as some other thoughts about the top of the Draft (21:00).
