Mukhamadullin Poised for Breakout?

Published

on

The San Jose Barracuda had a lot of new faces on the blueline and in the net last season. Which players should be considered important pieces going forward? I start with Artemi Kniazev’s massive second half of the season and Derrick Pouliot’s stability for the Barracuda defense core. Then I discuss why the newest San Jose Sharks prospect, Shakir Mukhamadullin, is going to be poised for a breakout season next year, the upcoming numbers game on the blueline, and why Nick Cicek is still worth investing in (11:00). Finally, how Aaron Dell did what was expected of him, if Eetu Mäkiniemi is the de facto starter for the Cuda, and if Strauss Mann will be back with the San Jose Sharks organization next year. Plus a comparison of goalies from the 2021-22 season to the 2022-23 season (23:00).
