I went to the game and my first thought leaving arena was, this was best performance of the season so far. The back checking and poke checks disrupted NJ the entire game. There were a couple of wide open opportunities that were missed or they could’ve had 2~3 more. Timo is looking like 2 years ago and EK was flashing back to his 2 way brand of hockey. If Hertl and Couture can get going it’ll add another dynamic to the chemistry right now. I think Friday’s match with NYR will be a true test of where the team is… Read more »
