Sharks, Barracuda Halloween Costume Parade

Happy Halloween!

The San Jose Sharks and the Barracuda both had their Halloween get-togethers on Saturday night, to take advantage of their Sundays off.

The Sharks’ party was at Logan Couture’s house, and word is, Steven Lorentz had the best costume in the house, as he and girlfriend Erin Markle went as Dwight Schrute and Angela Martin from “The Office.”

I haven’t seen any shots of Lorentz yet from Saturday night, but see if you can spot Markle in this picture of the San Jose Sharks players’ wives and girlfriends from the party:

Meanwhile, Jaycob Megna and wife Kasey took a request from their two-year daughter Evie:

Noah Gregor and Matt Nieto also went to a children’s favorite for their costumes, straight from “The Cat and the Hat”:

Halloween birthday boy Evgeny Svechnikov told me that Halloween isn’t a big deal in Russia, and he wasn’t able to scramble up a costume for Saturday night. Radim Simek echoed that sentiment.

Nico Sturm was able to rustle up a hippie costume. Kevin Labanc was in a similar situation of not being able to scare up much of a costume, but he grabbed his Hertha BSC shirt from Berlin and went as a soccer player, while wife Kelly went as a San Francisco 49er. Tomas Hertl says he opted for an old costume and was a chicken.

Worst costume?

“Can’t thrown anyone under the bus”

“A few guys didn’t have one. It was tough b/c of all the travel we’ve had.”
