San Jose Barracuda

Sharks, Barracuda Halloween Costume Parade

Happy Halloween!

The San Jose Sharks and the Barracuda both had their Halloween get-togethers on Saturday night, to take advantage of their Sundays off.

The Sharks’ party was at Logan Couture’s house, and word is, Steven Lorentz had the best costume in the house, as he and girlfriend Erin Markle went as Dwight Schrute and Angela Martin from “The Office.”

I haven’t seen any shots of Lorentz yet from Saturday night, but see if you can spot Markle in this picture of the San Jose Sharks players’ wives and girlfriends from the party:

Meanwhile, Jaycob Megna and wife Kasey took a request from their two-year daughter Evie:

Noah Gregor and Matt Nieto also went to a children’s favorite for their costumes, straight from “The Cat and the Hat”:

And Jonah Gadjovich and wife Allie were knockouts:

Now no word if Erik Karlsson wore this to the party, but courtesy of wife Melanie, this picture is just too perfect:

And it looks like James and April Reimer leaned hard into the Sharks theme too on Halloween night:

Here are more family pics from Halloween night:

And finally, the Simek, Hertl, Megna, Benning kids got together (plus an unidentified pink princess):

Halloween birthday boy Evgeny Svechnikov told me that Halloween isn’t a big deal in Russia, and he wasn’t able to scramble up a costume for Saturday night. Radim Simek echoed that sentiment.

Nico Sturm was able to rustle up a hippie costume. Kevin Labanc was in a similar situation of not being able to scare up much of a costume, but he grabbed his Hertha BSC shirt from Berlin and went as a soccer player, while wife Kelly went as a San Francisco 49er. Tomas Hertl says he opted for an old costume and was a chicken.

Burn from Vlasic!

More pictures from Saturday night should filter out soon – hopefully, a group photo and/or a picture of Steven/Dwight.

Now good news, there is a group photo from the San Jose Barracuda Halloween party, thanks to Jeffrey Viel’s girlfriend Florence Tremblay:

Naturally, top San Jose Sharks prospects William Eklund and Thomas Bordeleau went as babies, and I’m digging Ryan Merkley’s vibe.

Tristen Robins and Adam Raska deserve an extra spotlight for their Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy get-ups:

Like Robins and Raska, Viel and Tremblay went to the early 2000’s for their costumes:

Artemi Kniazev and Danil Gushchin check in with their costumes:

And let’s get a double dose of Aaron Dell, first, courtesy of wife Nicolette, then a super-cute one from the Cuda game earlier Saturday:

Finally, Tremblay leaves us with a taste of Barracuda festivities.

Have a fun and safe Halloween!
