Too Early To Worry About Hertl?

Published

on

Tomas Hertl just finished the first season of his new eight-year, $65.1 million deal, is it time for the San Jose Sharks to worry about Hertl after a “down” season? I start by analyzing Hertl’s 2022-23 campaign and how his defensive numbers were the glaring issue. Next, compare his 2021-22 season with his last season and how the offensive numbers were very comparable, and how Hertl started to change his game after the Timo Meier trade (10:00). Finally, why Hertl needs to shoot more next season and the San Jose Sharks need to find the perfect complementary player for Hertl this offseason (19:00).
