San Jose Sharks legends Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau are teaming up once again.

The two will both take part in the 2023 Sharks Legends Game this Friday, as reported by the team Monday afternoon.

The two first became teammates back in 2005, when the Sharks made a massive deal with the Boston Bruins that brought Thornton to the organization. They went on to play 12 seasons together, until Marleau chose to leave via free agency in 2017, signing a three-year deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs. They did join forces for a brief point after, however, as Marleau rejoined the Sharks for part of the 2019-20 campaign.

Fans will be able to watch the two play this Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Tech CU Arena in San Jose. The very next day, Marleau will see his jersey lifted to the rafters before a showdown against the Chicago Blackhawks.
