It took Oskar Lindblom 27 games to score his first goal as a member of the San Jose Sharks. He now has three goals in his last 11 games.

Are we starting to see the promised version of Lindblom, who the Sharks signed to a two-year, $5 million dollar contract over the summer?

It’s not just about the goal that he scored on Saturday night against the Dallas Stars – he was making good plays all over the ice, which we saw against the Stars in a 5-2 loss and the Chicago Blackhawks in a 5-2 victory.

“Oskar’s game really has come on here over the last week and a half,” head coach David Quinn said after the Dallas defeat. “He’s had some strong games and it was really good to see him get rewarded statistically.”

I re-watched all of Lindblom’s shifts against the Stars – and a few against the Hawks – and was pleasantly surprised by what I found.
