This might have been the BFF relationship of the year for the San Jose Sharks.

And it’s over, at least for now.

Earlier this month, the Sharks traded Erik Karlsson to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

For the 33-year-old Karlsson, this was a chance to chase a Stanley Cup. But for three-year-old daughter Harlow Karlsson, that meant moving away from her friend, San Jose Sharks mascot SJ Sharkie.

SJ Sharkie dropped by to say good-bye to Harlow this past weekend, as the Karlssons were packing up their San Jose home for their move to Pittsburgh.
