Greg Balloch Talks Draft’s Top Goalies
As Mike Grier continues in his quest to find the San Jose Sharks’ goalie of the future, could they take another in this year’s Draft? Greg Balloch of EP Rinkside joins to profile some of the biggest goalie names in the 2023 NHL Draft. We start with the Omaha Lancers’ Michael Hrabal and if he should be considered the No. 1 goalie in the draft. Next, we talk Trey Augustine of the USNDTP and why Greg thinks he could be the best goalie in the draft (12:00). We examine how much Scott Ratzlaff from the Seattle Thunderbirds is helped out by the team in front of him (18:00). Finally, Greg gives his thoughts on some of the over-agers in this year’s draft, Thomas Milic and Tomáš Suchánek, and if they are worth a gamble for the San Jose Sharks.
