World Juniors Reaction, Get to Know the Blues

Kyle and JD react to the World Junior Gold Medal game and the upstart, rag-tag group of Americans defeating the evil Canadians. We then dissect the San Jose Sharks’ newest rival, the St. Louis Blues, and look at their off-season (7:30), why they are going to be very good but boring (10:00), and why their Cup window is open but could be coming to an end soon (18:45).

Just read Stuetzle stood out as a stud. More salt on the wound on that horrible trade. Great job DW
Hard to really blame DW for Stuetzle, though I understand why it hurts. Who knew that SJS would tank so quickly? As to why SJS didn’t lottery protect pick, it’s explained well in this interview that I did with DW Jr.:

It would’ve cost something valuable. I don’t blame DW for not giving up that asset for what most predicted would be unnecessary lottery protection.
