Sharks Off-Season Road Map: Who Should They Trade, Sign, Draft?

Published

on

With the San Jose Sharks entering year two of their rebuild under Mike Grier, what should their off-season plan look like? I start with what trades I would make, including sending Erik Karlsson to a division rival, Kevin Labanc to a team in need of more salary on their books, and taking on the salary dump of Anthony Mantha from the Washington Capitals. Next, utilizing the beefed-up draft capital with a four-round mock draft and reinforcing the Sharks’ burgeoning pipeline (10:00). Finally, which RFAs to re-sign and which free agents the Sharks should seek out to sign, and how the team would look on opening night, as well as the cap situation going forward (18:00).
