The San Jose Sharks can thank Louie for Henry Thrun.

That’s Thrun’s childhood friend, Louie, who convinced seven-year-old Thrun, previously uninterested, to play hockey.

“As any seven-year-old would want to do,” Thrun told San Jose Hockey Now. “Just whatever their friends do, I want to do the same.”

I know the San Jose Sharks are grateful.

The Anaheim Ducks’ 2019 fourth-rounder talked about Louie, his friendships with Matt Boldy and Sean Farrell, why he owns a Trevor Zegras jersey, choosing the Sharks over the Ducks, Harry Potter or Star Wars, and his rescue dog Shep in a fun, wide-ranging subscriber Q&A.
