SJHN Daily: Why Is Erik Karlsson Pulling for Golden Knights To Win Stanley Cup?
Erik Karlsson wouldn’t give a Stanley Cup Final prediction, but he did share who he’s cheering for.
Yesterday, Per Bjurman of Aftonbladet released a list of Vegas Golden Knights-Florida Panthers predictions from a who’s who in Swedish hockey, including Karlsson, Niklas Lidstrom, Henrik Lundqvist, Daniel Alfredsson, Peter Forsberg, Hakan Loob, Douglas Murray, and more.
“Mark Stone in Vegas is a good friend, I hope he wins,” Karlsson told Bjurman. “But you never know who will win.”
Bjurman also asked his media friends their predictions, including Sheng. He’s got Florida in six.
Personally, I’m thinking Panthers in six too.
The Stanley Cup Final begins tomorrow at T-Mobile Arena.
