I don’t think Danil Gushchin is ready for the NHL.

But he also showed fans why they should be excited about him, scoring a goal in his NHL debut, a San Jose Sharks’ 7-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes.

I saw telling examples last night of where Gushchin needs to improve – but also, what makes him such a talent.
