BREAKING: Melker Karlsson Will Not Be Re-signing in San Jose

Per a source, Melker Karlsson will not be re-signing with the San Jose Sharks.

Karlsson, 30, was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2014 and made his NHL debut in the 2014-15 season. Since then, he’s become one of the San Jose Sharks’ steadiest penalty killers.

The UFA was a key member of both the 2016 Stanley Cup finalists and 2019 Western Conference finalists.

No word yet on where Karlsson will be playing next year.
