Sharks Surge Behind Karlsson, Kahkonen

The San Jose Sharks responded after a sluggish first period with one of their best periods of hockey all season. Their three-goal second period was the difference in a 5-1 win over the Ottawa Senators. Erik Karlsson showed his dominance again and was the engine behind that middle frame. Plus, a look at how the San Jose Sharks’ lines performed against the Sens with Tomas Hertl and Timo Meier leading the way (8:00) and the Sharks’ upcoming decision with Nick Cicek when Radim Simek returns (15:00). Finally, Kaapo Kahkonen started his first game in 11 days and looked solid in net (21:00).
