Happy 2019 Game 7, guys!

San Jose Sharks head coach Bob Boughner unveiled some fresh line combinations this morning:

Kane-Hertl-Labanc
Balcers-Couture-Meier
Marleau-Gambrell-Gregor
Donato-Kellman-Leonard-Blichfeld
Gabriel-Sorensen-Handemark-Viel (extra)

Ferraro-Burns
Knyzhov-Karlsson
Simek-Vlasic
Jaros-Pateryn

It’s the first time we’ve seen Evander Kane with Tomas Hertl and Timo Meier with Logan Couture in a while. Also, Joachim Blichfeld has been called up, and based on his practice jersey designation, he might get a shot when the San Jose Sharks take on Minnesota tomorrow.

On the power play, San Jose Hockey Now is seeing Brent Burns and Erik Karlsson together again:

Kane-Hertl-Labanc-Burns-Karlsson
Meier-Couture-Leonard-Balcers-Ferraro

Karlsson was clearly working the half-wall, Burns up top during this power play run-through. Marc-Edouard Vlasic also mixed into the second unit, we presume as an extra defenseman at the end of a PP.

It’s also worth noting: After flip-flopping Mario Ferraro and Nikolai Knyzhov on Wednesday, Boughner looks like he’s returning to his regular pairings tomorrow.

We’ll see if fresh lines can shake the San Jose Sharks out of their seven-game losing streak.
