Did Sharks Give Up on Hill Too Early?

Published

on

Did the San Jose Sharks give up on Adin Hill too early? After being traded this off-season for a fourth-round pick to the Vegas Golden Knights, Hill has re-discovered his game. I start by comparing Hill’s statistics when he was with the Arizona Coyotes, Sharks, and Golden Knights. Then I revisit the decision that Mike Grier had between Kaapo Kahkonen, James Reimer, and Hill last season, and how Kahkonen and Reimer’s stats cratered this year (10:00). Finally, is this an issue with the San Jose Sharks being a bad team, or is their inability to find a long-term goalie (via free agency or the Draft) a symptom of a bigger issue (19:00)?
