‘Everybody brings something to the table’: How All 5 Sharks Contribute on Power Play (+)

The San Jose Sharks’ power play has been on a tear.

Since their return from the All-Star break on Feb. 14, they’ve scored at a 25.0 % clip, good for eighth in the NHL.

“Everybody brings something to the table,” Timo Meier pointed out about the Tomas Hertl power play goal that gave the Sharks a 4-0 lead last night.

Timo’s right. Although it was just Meier and Brent Burns with the assists on the Hertl putback, everybody on the PP unit, including Logan Couture and Erik Karlsson, showed something special on this shift.
