Sheng’s Daily: Doug Wilson Sees Hall of Fame Plaque for First Time
How did another NHL team grade the San Jose Sharks’ 2020 Draft?
San Jose Hockey Now caught up with an amateur scout from another NHL organization, who shared his team’s thoughts about Ozzy Wiesblatt, Thomas Bordeleau, Tristen Robins, Danil Gushchin, Brandon Coe, and Alex Young.
In his mind, which San Jose pick has a first-line ceiling? Who has the most well-rounded game? Who was the best value selection?

From Doug Wilson's @HockeyHallFame plaque: "One of the hardest-shooting defencemen of his generation, Doug Wilson's slap shot also helped him become one of the game's great offensive rearguards…the three-time NHL All-Star was the first captain of the expansion San Jose Sharks" pic.twitter.com/KXCXS72Cf1

TSN was with Doug Wilson when he got his first look at his Hall of Fame plaque yesterday.
Their video is geo-blocked, so I transcribed Wilson’s reaction and subsequent interview.
Wow, that’s a pretty young picture.
I’ll be honest with you, it’s still overwhelming even though I’ve had four months to let it all sink in. I’m not sure it’s completely processed.
I’m not sure words could do it justice. There’s so many things, so many people going through my mind right now, people who were such a huge part of my life and journey.
Since I got the call from Lanny, it’s all been about reflections and appreciations.
The call came out of left field. It was completely unexpected. I was able to be with my whole family at the time. And that’s made this even more special.
To see that actually go up, I do not have the words. I do not.
