Does Erik Karlsson regret re-signing with the San Jose Sharks?

We can guess the organization has buyer’s remorse, as Karlsson has posted two forgettable seasons since inking an eight-year, $92 million dollar contract with the Sharks in June 2019.

But the San Jose Sharks haven’t exactly held up their end of the bargain either, as they haven’t added a lot of help around Karlsson. They haven’t made any significant outside roster additions, addressed their goaltending problems, or had a bushel of youngsters emerge as top-flight NHL players since Karlsson re-upped.

Karlsson tackled that question and also addressed his health in his exit interview this morning. Here are some of the highlights:
