Will Scouch on Marco Kasper’s Fit With Sharks

Published

on

The NHL Draft is about a month away and Marco Kasper has been creeping up the draft boards. Will Scouch of McKeen’s Hockey joins to profile the Austrian forward to see if he is worth being picked at the 11th pick by the San Jose Sharks. We profile Kasper’s stats and why a lot of general managers and coaches like his game. Will also discuss what Kasper needs to work on before coming to the NHL (10:00) and how he’d fit with top San Jose Sharks prospect William Eklund (16:00). Finally, we try and find the right draft position for Kasper and which players have risen the most for Will in the draft process (24:00).

nice seeing Scouch on the pod. can’t disagree with his assessment. Kasper the “safe” 1st rd pick for NHL GMs. high floor, low ceiling, productive yet creativity is questionable. probably getting picked much sooner than he should. still outside the Sharks pick position at #11.

trade back and pick him if you can pick up something in return that you’d might not expect.
