The San Jose Sharks are participating in a Rookie Faceoff Tournament from September 17-20 in Arizona with the Coyotes, Avalanche, Ducks, Golden Knights, and Kings. (San Jose Sharks)

Superseding the San Jose Sharks’ decision, effective September 20th — and through November 1st for now — the state of California will require proof of vaccine or a negative COVID test for all indoor events with 1,000-plus people. Self-attestation will no longer be sufficient at venues like SAP Center. (Deadline)
