i think he needs to learn how to stay on the ice more if he wants to wear a letter.

That’s a fair point in regards to Kane.

My only significant issue with their alternate captain projections here is that the AC is really not expected to do a ton of media, at least on the Sharks. Thornton and Burns, for example, didn’t/don’t do a lot. So Vlasic, who doesn’t love chatting with the media, won’t really be pressed much in that regard. Only the captain is expected to do media in most cases post-game, win or loss.

Cooch is fine in that role as he has shown a willingness to speak honestly (to a fault at times) with them. gotta resist throwing his mates under the bus though and perhaps a bit less “glass half full” as a routine fall back.
