first, the nice comment about Ozzy: i asked the Locked On boys months back when they started their draft prospect podcast reviews to take a look at Ozzy, as he was a player i’d been following (because he was a teammate of Sharks F prospect Noah Gregor (whom i’m a fan of) with the Raiders. i thought he’d make a good pick mid 2nd round. i still think he’d be a great mid 2nd round pick, btw for all of the reasons the boys talked about in their cast. there were some genuine head scratchers, way off the board, picks… Read more »

Maybe they were hearing the footsteps on Wiesblatt, it was now or never? That’s what was implied. So maybe they knew someone was going to get him before No. 34 (as opposed to Bordeleau)

I have not heard, in my time, the industry perception that the SJS list is really “wacky.” I’ll reach out to an amateur guy in another org, I am curious about his thoughts about the SJS draft.
