San Jose Sharks
Training Camp Roster Projection, How Close Were Sharks on Sheary or Granlund?

36 skaters and four to five goalies. “40-41 players,” per GM Doug Wilson.
That’s how the San Jose Sharks will open training camp next week.
Assuming that the Sharks don’t add anybody else to their organization — and San Jose Hockey Now has some news regarding recently-signed UFAs Mikael Granlund and Conor Sheary — here’s my best guess at what we’re looking at up front, on the blueline, and between the pipes on December 31st.
From this initial 40-41 man group, the San Jose Sharks will need to cull a 23-man NHL roster and a four to six-man “taxi squad”.
