In one of the San Jose Sharks’ most viral moments in recent memory, Tyler Toffoli had a sleepover with Will Smith and Macklin Celebrini after losing a bet to the two young stars.

The bet was, if all three scored against the Buffalo Sabres on Mar. 4, Toffoli would have to participate in a sleepover in Smith and Celebrini’s room in Denver.

Earlier this week, our Felicia Keller broke down what was known about the bet and the San Jose Sharks‘ sleepover.

Now, Toffoli shared the full story on his wife Cat’s Never Offside podcast.

Toffoli, who scored on an empty net against the Sabres to seal his fate, joked, “If I had thought of it, I would have passed it. Just because they would have been so mad about it.”

Toffoli also detailed the inseparable bond that the futures of the franchise have formed, joking not joking, “They need each other.”
