San Jose Hockey Now
Sheng’s Tip Jar
CHICAGO, Ill. — San Jose Hockey Now is flying once again!
I’m on my way to Montreal right now, on my first flight since the beginning of the pandemic — currently awaiting my connecting flight at O’Hare after taking a red-eye out of SFO.
All last season, I drove to road games. I’m proud to say no San Jose Sharks reporter was on site at more road games last year: I drove to Arizona for training camp and the season opener. I drove to Vegas, the only Sharks reporter there for Patrick Marleau’s 1,768th game. I drove to Los Angeles and Anaheim.
It was a disappointing season for the team, but I hope that I surpassed expectations in my quest to provide San Jose Hockey Now readers with the best possible coverage of the San Jose Sharks.
But it’s a new season and I’m hungry to prove myself to you once again — so let’s hit the sky!
With that in mind, I’ve set up a Tip Jar once again to help fund my travel this season. 100 percent of what you contribute will go toward getting me to and from San Jose Sharks road games. There will be full transparency with how these tips are used. Anything is appreciated!
Thank you for all your support — you’re the reason why San Jose Hockey Now is here.
Here’s to a safe and successful 2021-22 San Jose Sharks season!
