Trocheck’s a good player but he’s not Hertl. that writer thinks Hertl is our 2C when he’s actually more like our 1C in all but name. also, a side-by-side comparison between them over the last 3 seasons has Trocheck falling short of Hertl’s production at 5v5. not just actual production but expected production as well. he doesn’t drive play as well as Hertl either. on the defensive side of things, Hertl gets a little more outshot but the quality of shots against is much less dangerous. TOI/GP at 5v5 is about even. Trocheck’s been better for FLA/CAR on the PP… Read more »
