Denmark joined the IIHF in 1946 — and after 75 years, they’ve finally made the Olympics. San Jose Sharks prospect Joachim Blichfeld notched two goals and one assist for Denmark in their three qualifying games. (IIHF)

Latvia has also qualified for the Olympics — their qualifying was spearheaded by San Jose Sharks forward Rudolfs Balcers, who tied for the team lead with six points. (IIHF)
