San Jose Sharks
PREDICTION: Are These Sharks’ Reverse Retro Jerseys?
The new Reverse Retro jerseys should be unveiled soon.
Ali Murji, who first leaked the San Jose Sharks’ new home and road jerseys, tweeted last month that Adidas will tease the new jerseys on Oct. 19 and officially release them on Oct. 20.
Sharks CMO Doug Bentz more or less corroborated that date, telling San Jose Hockey Now, “It’s somewhere around there.”

A week away from the supposed reveal date, Murji and artist Orion Taylor have dropped a Reverse Retro prediction for the San Jose Sharks that looks in line with everything that SJHN has heard.
The San Jose Sharks will be paying homage to the first team in the Bay Area, the San Jose Sharks. Jersey has been very predictable due to the fanatic leak, but I’ve also been told there’s a chance we may see some retro white skates with them@orionataylor pic.twitter.com/2xH9ncBDoI

A source indicated to SJHN last month that the Sharks’ new Reverse Retro will be a primarily white jersey, inspired by the 1974-75 Golden Seals home kits. Save for the “Sharks” typeface as opposed to the “Seals”, Murji and Taylor’s prediction, on the surface, looks identical to the 1974-75 jerseys.

Murji also corroborated a detail that icethetics had mentioned months ago, when they leaked that the San Jose Sharks would be drawing inspiration from the California Golden Seals for these Reverse Retros.

“I’ve also been told there’s a chance we may see some retro white skates with them,” Murji tweeted.
Hey, the Sharks have already gone all-teal, why not all-white?
