SJHN Daily: Celebrini Wants To Play in World Championships, Sharks Firm on Price for Kunin

Will Macklin Celebrini play for Team Canada this summer?
The 18-year-old Calder Trophy favorite has 18 goals and 42 points in 47 games. While he was not part of the 4 Nations Face-Off, there is a strong chance Celebrini makes this summer’s World Championships roster.

In Montreal, the San Jose Sharks’ star rookie told reporters he would like to play for Team Canada.
Last year, Celebrini and Adam Fantilli were late removals from Canada’s World Championships roster. The two youngsters were dropped in favor of proven NHL players. With an NHL season of near point-per-game production under his belt, Celebrini seems like a shoo-in for Team Canada this summer.
