Pederson may end up as a Sharks sleeper:
Can add: #SJSharks are very high on Pederson. The 23-year-old will certainly compete for a spot in SJS line-up this fall, the RFA is NOT waiver-exempt https://t.co/CH50oxz5Th

Doug Wilson concurred: “He’s a player that we’ve liked for a while. We got to see him a lot playing down in Tucson. They brought him up later in the year. He’s a right-shot centerman, he can skate. He’s got size to him. He’s a guy that our amateur guys have followed since juniors.
“This is a guy that has the skill-set, we think, to be able to come in and compete for a spot on this team.
“We just looked at this as an opportunity to add another really good player with a real good upside.”
A couple minor signings: The Sharks have agreed to two-way contracts with Jaycob Megna and Nick Merkley, per a source. Both deals carry $750k salaries at the NHL level.
