Reviewing Proposed Meier, Karlsson Trades
There are several trade proposals out there surrounding Erik Karlsson and Timo Meier. I looked at some of the best ones around to figure out which would be the best hauls for the San Jose Sharks. I start with the rumored Erik Karlsson to the Edmonton Oilers and if Evan Bouchard would be an enticing enough player with some assets that can be flipped for more picks. Then I look at if Timo Meier to the Winnipeg Jets for a highly rated prospect and young NHL defenseman (13:00) or if Meier to the Carolina Hurricanes for draft picks and former second-round prospects (18:00) makes sense. Finally, I look at one of the many trade packages from the New Jersey Devils for Meier and if Alexander Holtz is enough (23:00).
