Sharks Lose, But May Have Found a Goalie

Published

on

Another heartbreaking loss for the San Jose Sharks as they gave up the game-winning goal with 16.6 seconds left in their 2-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Kaapo Kahkonen was electric tonight though, stopping 36 of 38 shots and having his best game in teal. We discuss if Kahkonen has cemented himself as the starter going forward and helped answer some long-term questions for the Sharks. Next, the San Jose Sharks were in this game at even strength, but the disparity of power play opportunities gave Vegas a huge advantage (10:00) — and we talk Kevin Labanc’s return to the top line (13:00). Finally, how Jacob MacDonald and Erik Karlsson played together (21:00), and if Alexander Barabanov would be an attractive trade piece (24:00).
