SJ Daily: Sharks Re-Sign Gadjovich, Where Will He Start Season?
That’s it! With the signing of Jonah Gadjovich, all of the restricted free agents the San Jose Sharks were looking to retain this summer have put pen to paper.
“Jonah’s work ethic and toughness are two traits that really stand out in his game,” GM Mike Grier said in a team press release. “We’re happy to have him signed and are looking forward to continuing his development next season.”

The 23-year-old forward had one goal and two assists in 43 games in his first season with the Sharks, collecting 74 penalty minutes. A former second-round pick (55th overall) by the Vancouver Canucks in 2017, this could be the season Gadjovich puts the two sides of his game together and brings more scoring along with his grit.
It will be a battle for Gadjovich to retain a spot on the San Jose Sharks roster. It’s San Jose Hockey Now’s best guess that Gadjovich will start the season with the Barracuda:
