SJHN Daily: Thornton, Subban Star in Super Bowl Ad
San Jose Sharks legend Joe Thornton was featured in a Super Bowl advertisement last night.
Well, at least one that debuted on Super Bowl broadcasts in Canada.
Alongside former Norris Trophy winner P.K. Subban, the two former stars helped Apple with their latest iPhone 14 commercial.
The ad is showcasing the iPhone 14’s purported long-lasting battery life. But more important than that, hockey fans must’ve been pleased to see that Jumbo still has his glorious beard.
Hopefully by now, P.K. has found his tooth!

Tough spot for Dell to come in, last NHL game was Dec. 4 in Buffalo. #SJSharks have defended well today though, all in all, let's see if they can keep it up

Sharks haven't given permission yet to Timo Meier's camp to speak directly to teams (about an extension). The expectation is that will happen closer to trade offers being firmed up. Devils and 'Canes still among several teams very much interested in Meir depending on extension…
