The San Jose Sharks will be using president-elect Joe Biden’s campaign plane next year.

Well, it’s more the other way around. For about a month until their contract ended on November 4th, the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris campaign was leasing KaiserAir N732KA, the Sharks’ team plane since 2014.

KaiserAir senior vice president of operations & chief pilot Rob Guerra told San Jose Hockey Now that the Boeing 737-59D is now undergoing annual maintenance: “It’s getting ready for the Sharks season.”

Our one burning question: Which Shark is going to take Biden’s seat?

Guerra, who flew Biden and has flown the likes of the Sharks and the Rolling Stones, revealed, “He sat, typically, in the front of the airplane. One of the conference tables. They worked on their campaign in between stops.

“Mostly, it’s where the coaching staff sits.”

And what if the San Jose Sharks don’t play soon?

“It’s available for charter,” Guerra said of the N732KA.

How much to rent your own Boeing 737-59D with 54 first-class seats?

Guerra wouldn’t say — serious inquiries only!
