San Jose Sharks
BREAKING: Sharks Pick Ethan Cardwell

The San Jose Sharks have drafted Ethan Cardwell.
Cardwell is a 5-foot-11 center who notched 27 points in 18 games for HockeyEttan’s Surahammars IF. That’s Swedish third-division, Cardwell was originally scheduled to play in the OHL for the Barrie Colts in 2020-21.
The San Jose Sharks selected Cardwell with the 121st pick in the fourth round.
Per Elite Prospects 2021 Draft Guide:
The San Jose Sharks should make Cardwell available to the media shortly.
Another note about Cardwell:
He co-hosts a great podcast called @ShowboundPod and the stories they get from their interview with players are my favourite thing ever. Please check it out @SanJoseSharks fans. #2021NHLDraft #OHL #SJSharks

2nd year eligible player who made strides in his development after being passed over first time around. relentless physical forechecker, always moving his feet. THW guys projected him to be drafted between rounds 5-7. bottom 6 contributor projection.
maybe the next Tommy Wingels? Sharks took him round 6 (177th overall) in 2008. Cardwell a little too early for me.
especially with Dylan Duke going 126th overall.
