The San Jose Sharks have released their Rookie Faceoff roster.

The Sharks are bringing a fair amount of NHL experience to Vegas, from William Eklund to Thomas Bordeleau to Danil Gushchin to Tristen Robins to Henry Thrun.

Ethan Cardwell, Brandon Coe, Ozzy Wiesblatt, Jake Furlong, Artem Guryev, Gannon Laroque, Shakir Mukhamadullin, Mitchell Russell, and Mason Beaupit are among the San Jose Sharks prospects also on the roster.

Besides those older prospects, 2023 first-rounder Quentin Musty, second-rounder Kasper Halttunen, and fourth-rounder Luca Cagnoni are also attending. Fourth-overall pick Will Smith, however, isn’t allowed to participate because of NCAA rules.

This might also be San Jose Sharks fans’ first chance to see some recent signings in teal, like defenseman Valtteri Pulli, and goaltenders Magnus Chrona and Georgi Romanov.

There are three invites, all from the QMJHL, forwards Ben Allison, Felix Gagnon, and Joseph Henneberry.

The Rookie Faceoff begins on Sept. 15 in Las Vegas.

On Sept. 15, the San Jose Sharks take on the Los Angeles Kings at City National Arena in Summerlin. On Sept. 16, the Sharks face off against hosts Vegas Golden Knights at Dollar Loan Center in Henderson. And finally, on Sept. 18, the Sharks cap off the Rookie Faceoff against the Arizona Coyotes at City National Arena.

All Sharks games will be streamed at sanjosesharks.com.
