The 2023 Draft lottery is on May 8, and it’s one of the biggest days in San Jose Sharks history. What are you up to?

I’m going to be at Narrative Fermentations in San Jose, drinking a cold one and having some nachos with Mushu. You’re welcome to join us!

The San Jose Hockey Now Draft lottery party starts at 4 PM, the Draft lottery begins at 5 PM, and we’ll have the backroom of the brewery to ourselves until 7 PM.

Narrative Fermentations is offering a 10 percent discount on all beer for attendees and NACHOZ will be serving up delicious home-made nachos on site. I’ll also be giving out prizes!

Narrative Fermentations is located at 101 E. Alma Ave, just minutes from where the San Jose Sharks practice, is dog-friendly, and features private lot and street parking.

The San Jose Sharks have the fourth-best odds for the No. 1 pick in the 2023 Draft, but they also have a 65.4 percent chance of falling out of the top-four.

This year’s Draft class is headlined by scoring sensation Connor Bedard, but Adam Fantilli, Matvei Michkov, and Leo Carlsson are regarded by many as just a cut below. So the Sharks want to at least stay in the top-four.
